Understand how Campaiyn's recommendations work, the difference between manual and one-click apply, and the safety guardrails in place.
Campaiyn's recommendations are designed to be actionable and safe. This article explains how applying recommendations works on each plan and what guardrails are in place.
On all plans, recommendations are advisory by default. Campaiyn tells you what to do and why -- you decide whether to act.
No change is ever made to your Meta ad account without your explicit action. This means:
On Free and Starter, you apply recommendations manually in Meta Ads Manager:
You are always in control. The recommendation is guidance -- you execute it yourself and confirm when it is done.
On Growth and Agency, you have access to Apply Now, which lets Campaiyn execute the change directly on your Meta ad account through the API.
When you click Apply Now:
Note
Apply Now does not act on everything automatically -- you still click it per recommendation. It just removes the step of going to Meta Ads Manager yourself.
For budget-related changes via Apply Now, Campaiyn applies the following guardrails:
This prevents a recommendation from dramatically scaling up spend without your awareness, or cutting a budget to near-zero.
Important
Even with guardrails, you should review each recommendation before clicking Apply Now. The AI is analyzing patterns across your account, but you have context the AI may not -- for example, a planned promotion launching next week, or a campaign that is intentionally running at a lower budget for testing.
You can dismiss any recommendation from the Recommendations page. Dismissed recommendations are tracked separately and do not affect your health score negatively.
If you see a recommendation you think is incorrect, email support@campaiyn.ai with the recommendation details. We review flagged recommendations to improve the model.
For manual changes (Free/Starter), you are making the changes yourself in Meta Ads Manager -- any Meta change you make can be undone in Meta Ads Manager the same way.
For Apply Now changes (Growth/Agency), Campaiyn logs every action. Where the action is reversible (e.g., re-enabling a paused ad set), you can undo it from the activity log. Some changes, like budget increases, simply need to be manually reversed in Meta Ads Manager if needed.
