After creating your account, Campaiyn walks you through a short onboarding flow. This is not just a form -- the information you provide directly shapes how the AI interprets your ad account data and the recommendations it generates for you.

What you will be asked

The onboarding covers four areas:

  • Business type -- what industry you are in (e-commerce, lead gen, SaaS, local business, etc.)
  • Target audience -- who you are trying to reach with your ads
  • Your offer -- what product or service you are promoting
  • Goals -- whether you are optimizing for purchases, leads, traffic, or something else

Why this matters

Two ad accounts with identical health scores can need completely different recommendations depending on context. A lead generation business running ads for a $5,000 consulting package has different benchmarks and strategies than an e-commerce store selling $30 products.

By knowing your business context, the AI avoids giving generic advice and instead surfaces recommendations that are relevant to your specific situation.

Pro tip

Be as specific as possible when describing your offer and audience. Vague inputs lead to generic recommendations. Specific inputs lead to recommendations that actually move the needle.

Can I update my onboarding information later?

Yes. You can update your business profile at any time from the Settings section in your dashboard. If your business evolves or you connect a different ad account with a different focus, updating your profile ensures the AI stays calibrated to your current situation.
